Bangor Area Staffing is seeking candidates for an Accountant position for a manufacturing company. This position supports the CFO/HR Director. Tasks will include a variety of accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, complete monthly close procedures, manage and maintain cost accounting system, etc. and assist with HR tasks plus as needed. This position has room to grow!
Bachelor's degree, Accounting/Finance or related field. Minimum of 1-2 years accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting theory. Computer experience: proficient Excel and intermediate level Word skills required. High attention to detail, accurate data entry and excellent interpersonal skills. HR knowledge a plus.
Good work references.
This full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm position will become permanent once probationary requirements are met. Benefits available when go permanent.
